John W. Logan, B.A., LL.B.
Barrister & Solicitor, Notary Public, Trade-mark Agent

After many years as a partner in a large firm situated in Hamilton, Ontario, I became a sole practitioner early in 1999. Working in a smaller setting with fewer distractions has proven to be very beneficial to my practice objectives - client service, professional integrity and careful attention to the law.

I endeavour to treat each of my clients as an individual deserving of my full attention and highest respect. I time appointments generously so that no one needs to feel hurried. Matters entrusted to me receive the careful handling they deserve, regardless of size or complexity.

I endeavour to treat my friends and colleagues in the legal profession with the same high degree of respect. I adhere strictly to the Rules of Professional Conduct of the Law Society of Upper Canada.  I will not take unfair advantage of a fellow legal professional.  My clients' best interests are served if those in the profession know that I maintain the same high standards they do.

The law has been a passion of mine since the first day of law school.  I find the analysis of common law and of statutes to be an ongoing challenge and delight. I enjoy drafting and revising legal documents, such as contracts and leases. Helping clients to understand the law and its implications for them is a very satisfying part of my practice.
